New venue for Aim & Wild Expo

The Aim & Wild Expo, one of the biggest hunting, game-ranching, angling and outdoor shows in South Africa, is moving to a new venue this year. This annual expo, which is a highlight in the diaries of wildlife and outdoor enthusiasts, will be held at the Heartfelt Arena in Pretoria from Friday, 30 March to Sunday, 1 April 2012.
Previously held at the Tshwane Events Centre, the Aim & Wild Expo is a tailor-made event for the wildlife industry and lovers of the great outdoors. The expo will once again feature one of the most comprehensive selections of hunting, game-ranching, angling and outdoor equipment and accessories available, including guns and ammunition, hunting bows, knives, hunting outfits, fishing equipment, camping gear and off-road vehicles.

Jan van der Walt, organiser of the Aim & Wild Expo, says the new venue is ideally suited for the Aim & Wild Expo. “The venue is centrally located and extremely versatile, with a large exhibition space, break-away venues for the expo’s full programme, outdoor areas for exhibitions, angling and 4 x 4 facilities, and ample parking. We think this is a great venue for a great show.”

More than 150 exhibitors are expected to display their products and services as part of the exhibition at the Aim & Wild Expo, while the expo programme will include a variety of interesting talks, demonstrations and competitions. Highlights on the programme include hunting-hound shows, a 4 x 4 track, a ProAmm grouping competition and an angling pond where anglers can test their skills.

Wildlife Ranching South Africa will also host a seminar for game ranchers at the expo on Friday, 30 March. The expo will also offer opportunities for fun with bow and arrow, while younger visitors can enjoy entertainment in the form of water-balls, paint-ball, climbing-walls, quads and temporary tattoos.
